The Bar Mitzvah Discovery Course is designed for Jewish boys approaching their

thirteenth birthday.  The course serves as a forum for discussion and discovery

through exploring the richness of the Jewish heritage, understanding the meaning of

becoming a Bar Mitzvah, as well as Torah Reading and Haftorah preparation.

The course includes group meetings with other boys approaching Bar Mitzvah as well

as additional private sessions with Rabbi Schneur Schneerson for personal Parsha

preparation.

Preparation for a Bar Mitzvah takes 8-12 months. New group starting January 2010
