A Shul is more than just a Synagogue. A Shul which is Yiddish for a place of prayer and study, is a home for any Jew looking for a warm and spiritual place to grow. At Chabad of Newbury Park, everybody's welcome. There are Jews from all walks of life, from all backgrounds and affiliations.  At every service you will find families, singles, seniors and children. People come to our Shul because of the sense of community and Jewish warmth they feel.

This is the atmosphere that has been created in our small, unassuming Shul in Newbury Park which we call home. Our services are refreshingly casual and easy to follow. The English-Hebrew prayer book, along with song and commentary, make everyone an active participant regardless of prior experience or background.

Please join us for our weekly Kiddush immediately following the service.  Our Kiddush affords us a collective opportunity to partake of our Rabbis  most delicious and widely praised "Cholent" (stew), to share the news of the week, relax into the Shabbat tempo, and enjoy the warmth and companionship that emanate from this community.

There is no charge to come to Chabad of Newbury Park. Feel free to come as often as you'd like. You're already a member. We all are.
